I(newbie) am looking for the best way to start mysql at boot.
I have read many different doc's concerning this topic but
none seem to have a definitive answer or are 3 or 4 years old. I
currently start it using /usr/pkg/share/mysql/mysql.server start
If I try and start it using /usr/pkg/etc/rc.d/mysqld start I get
this. WARNING: $mysqld is not set properly - see rc.conf(5).
MySQL version:
/usr/pkg/bin/mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.17, for -netbsdelf (i386)
NetBSD 1.6.2_STABLE
thanks
