I am a new user to NetBSD & Unix like operating systems in general,
however the installation went well on my i386 machine with me
following the instructions in the NetBSD Guide. I had some problems
mounting my Win XP partition but a quick read of the man entry on
fstab enabled me to sort that out.
Now I am trying to hook NetBSD (1.6.2) on my PC to the Internet via my
Speedtouch 330 USB modem without success. I installed the userppp &
speedtouch packages and followed the instructions about editing files.
Now when I try to connect I get the following message
cannot exec usr/local/sbin/ppoa2 -vpi 0 -vci 38
I have checked this directory and ppoa2 does not exist, in fact the
directory is empty.
Additionally I have done make deinstall, and then reinstalled but with
the same results.
What have I missed, done wrong?
(I have already scoured the mailing list archives to no avail).
