Does native firefox-gtk2 1.0 really do encrypted connections now, as
the browser shows under "Tools," "Page Info," "Security" (and 
Preferences," "Advanced," "Security") during HTTPS transfers? A search
of older posts showed that lack of encryption for browsers (except
possibly for Navigator 4.80) was an issue in the past, but I didn't find
any post showing a resolution of the problem.

   I'm running -r netbsd Release-2-0 and current pkgsrc in an i386.
