Yes the boot selector is installed, however it is installed on the
second hard drive (that's why telling the bios to boot the second hard
drive first will put me into the nbsd boot selector). The bios is not
a problem as I've installed Redhat and Slackware and the lilo that was
installed worked fine.
The essence of the problem is that both operating systems (windows and
nbsd) have their own boot selectors on the mbr of the hard drive they
are installed. However their respective boot selectors fails to
recognize the other operating system.
i.e. if I boot the first hard drive with windows on it ( i have a copy
of the nbsd mbr in the first hard drive and I have edited the boot.ini
to allow me to select this option) and try to select nbsd, the
computer crashes and restarts.
If I boot the second hard drive, the nbsd boot selector does not
recognize that there is a windows partition.
So right now when I to go to different operating systems, I have to
make changes in the bios to boot the different hard drive.
I'm asking if there is any other way to boot both operating system
without involving the bios. Or to get the boot selector of either
operating system to recognize the other.
Thanks in advance
