Hi all -

I'm having trouble getting NetBSD running on my new box. Here are the
specs:

	Via EPIA Mini-ITX mobo
	Via C3 cpu (800MHz)
	VIA 8601A north bridge
	VT8231 south bridge
	Integrated 'Trident' graphics
	Via VT6103 Rhine-II network adapter

Given the ease with which a colleague had a similar box up and running
recently, I was hoping the install would be the usual straightforward
affair.

Unfortunately, when I boot the machine with the install CD in the
drive, it causes an immediate reboot. The BIOS checks run, then it
spins up the CD and *bam* -- reboot.

I checked the disc in another machine -- no problem there, and I booted
a gentoo livecd to check the hardware -- no problems there either.

I checked the archives, and found reports of people running netbsd
quite happily on similar hardware -- I can't see anything glaringly
wrong with the specs (although I'm fully prepared to be proven wrong on
that).

Does anyone have any suggestions? It's rather depressing to see the
gentoo livecd boot perfectly, and have the netbsd install fail to even
begin.

Seasons greetings,

Henry.
