Just FYI.

The solution to the automake problem was finally to chmod the 
/usr/pkgsrc/mk/gnu-config/missing and make it executable.

BTW, the /usr/pkgsrc/mk/gnu-config contains a bunch of scripts and none is executable (by 
default), at least on my machine.
