Hi,

I would like to configure XFree86 on a fresh installed NetBSD 2.0 i386
machine.

What I have done so far:

On the command line, under root, I used the command # XFree86 -configure
to create a configuration file.
Then I´ve opened the XF86Config.new file in the /root directory with a Text
Editor to modify it with the appropriate settings for my machine.
The Graphic card is a ATI Xpert 98.

Below you can find the modified configuration file:

To test the file I used the command # XFree86 -xf86config XF86Config.new.
But the XFree86 test screen did not came up. In the XFree86 log file from
/var/log I have the following lines at the end:

Fatal server error:
no screens found

If necessary, I can provide the hole log file for analysis.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Carsten
