I have an Opteron test machine with 3 disks :
hd0 Linux/x86_64 (CentoOS 3.3)
hd1 NetBSD/amd64
hd2 FreeBSD/amd64
For booting NetBSD (same for FreeBSD), i use the following lines :
title NetBSD hd1
root (hd1,0,a)
rootnoverify (hd1,0,a)
chainloader +1
