Prometheus got chained to the mountain for giving humans fire, I thought.
But, yes I believe that he also pulled the wool over the gods' eyes re.
sacrifices. I suspect that he was kin to Loki, with a soft spot for
humans thrown in.
I finally found the problem: Part of the chain of filters & virtual printers
eventually goes (as printer-specific junk) to a virtual printer called "uraw"
(USB raw printer), which prometheus exports. The system that was trying to
write to the "uraw" printer was using a non-existent spool directory.
It's all happy now. (^&
(Per your other suggestion, I did refrain from human sacrifice. I don't
know if that tilted the balance in my favor...)
