I think just placing the file in the .../filter dir is working just  
fine? based on the error_log debug output.  Looks like you could set  
up a ln, place the file there, or add a path statement, and still be  
fine.

PLease let me know if you think differently! :)  I am certainly  
mostly just winging it here.
