The only way I know of keeping an X session "alive" between logins is
to run an Xvnc server on your NetBSD box and then connect to it from=20
your windows box with the windows vnc viewer. That way you can close
the vnc viewer without having to kill your X server and clients.
This also allows you to connect to your NetBSD X server from any machine
that has a vnc viewer. =20
=46inally, if you don't trust the vnc protocol as much as you trust ssh,
you should be able to have the vnc viewer connection forwarded over
your ssh connection.
