also had that problem...

The manual says "./postinstall ..." in the directory where you extracted =
etc.tgz
but in etc.tgz is no postinstall. Not shure if it's ok, but I simply =
used "postinstall -s /root check" instead
of "./postinstall -s /root check" (so without "./").
