Yes, there is.  The CVS branch tag which was created when the 1.6
release cycle was started is netbsd-1-6, and it's this branch
which gave rise to 1.6.1 and 1.6.2.  If you update now along that
branch, you'll see your version designation change from 1.6.2 to
1.6.2_STABLE.

Keep track of our security advisories, I guess?  You can do that
by subscribing to netbsd-announce@netbsd.org.  The security
advisories contain information about how you should go about
upgrading.
