amd64 kernel
Folks!
I have installed netbsd using amd64cd-4.0.iso and everything was just fine.
As told in "The NetBSD Guide", I downloaded kernel sources from
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-4.0/source/sets/ and got some
errors when trying to compile a new kernel.
The error seems to start when it tries to make a symlink from
/usr/src/sys/arch/x86_64/include. Actually the x86_64 directory doesn't
even exist. From where should I download kernel sources to accomplish
this task?
PS: I tried two ways of compiling the kernel
/usr/src/build.sh -m amd64 tools;
/usr/src/tooldir.NetBSD-4.0-x86_64/bin/nbconfig
/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/conf/NEWKERNEL; /usr/src/build.sh kernel=NEWKERNEL
/usr/bin/config /usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/conf/NEWKERNEL; cd
/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/NEWKERNEL; make depend
Thanks for your help!
