Get yourself a stable install of NetBSD somewhere with a lot of disk
space.

Get a full source code tree; apply your patches to in src/sys/ and then
build a release, then ISOs.

For debugging Sparc64 kernel problems, you may be better taking 5
minutes to setup a NetBoot server in your development environment.
