But still, my local name server would forward the AAAA request
upstream (i.e. to the router). Unfortunately the (buggy) router sends
the replies from an unexpected source port. So the resolver would send
the AAAA query to the local name server which in turn forwards the
query to the router. The name server will not see the reply from the
router, maybe try again after some time and finally return the error
message to the resolver. Would the resolver send the A query *before*
the AAAA request is either replied to or has timed out?
