Ok. I've been running all the BSDs under QEMU so I have a general feel 
of what they're like, but QEMU is very slow so it is difficult to go 
very far in a comparison. I'm hoping to buy a new computer in the 
future, when I do I'll take a few days to play with the BSDs before I 
turn it into my work machine.

In principle I could take a slice of my current disk for *BSD, but 
dual-booting would mean rebooting and I never reboot my computer.

Ok. Is this something that NetBSD and OpenBSD have in common? I know 
that they share some history and both seem to have a stronger focus on 
technical correctness. I've already decided I don't want OpenBSD on my 
desktop but I am curious about NetBSD.
