Did you try it directly by ftp? 
ftp ftp.NetBSD.org:/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/i386/5.0.2_2011Q2/All

It should work without login and password.

You can also download the *.tgz binary package and then install it by
pkg_add filename.tgz
