elinks 0.12 python option

I hope this is the correct mailing list for this question.

elinks 0.12 has a python scripting option. I requested sysadmin on my
setup to enable the option. I got to know, the elinks port on NetBSD does
not provide this option.

What is the way to get this option enabled in elinks on NetBSD? (Any
request to be logged etc?)
