Right, it hardly seems that your named is handling IPv6 but your system is not 
IPv6 connected. You have to configure your named to "just provide" IPv4 DNS or 
configure IPv6 if available / possible for you.

For details you may take a look at the public bind docs as this is a common 
issue.
