My keyboard gives the Danish national letters æÆøØåÅ as well
as various special characters in their right (Danish) places-
A Danish keyboard is a QWERTY-keyboard with certain modifications-.
Several of the keycodes I do not understand:
e.g.
keycode 52 = gr_c Ooblique
wscons has chosen to display "Ooblique" in stead of Oslash,(Ø).
But it is beyond me what the meaning of "gr_c" is..
keycode 51 = gr_z gr_Z
is probably "æÆ" . When I compare keycode 52
with keycode 47 which probably gives åÅ, but says
keycode 47 = aring gr_E
and not "gr_e Aring" - whatever "gr_{e,E}" means,
I get quite confused.
But here we go with output from wsconsctrl::
With option -a I get:
type=usb
... <snip> ...
encoding=dk.nodead
... <snip> ...
With option map I get::
map=
keycode 4 = a A
keycode 5 = b B
keycode 6 = c C
keycode 7 = d D
keycode 8 = e E
keycode 9 = f F
