Xorg using most of a CPU
I'm setting up a new netbook, which isn't the speediest box to begin
with, and Xorg is using the vesa driver.
Without doing much of anything, the Xorg process uses 100% of a cpu, and
further investigation shows it's writing hundreds of messages a second
to Xorg.0.log:
[ 2299.421] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.422] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.423] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.424] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.425] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.426] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.427] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
[ 2299.428] (WW) VESA(0): remove MTRR 0 - 1000
Anyone know what's going on and/or how to fix it?
