You have to create /dev/mfi0 as well:
crw-------  1 root  wheel  205, 0 Sep 13 21:39 /dev/mfi0

and don't mounr /emul/linux/proc, but just create a fake
/emul/linux/proc/devices containing:
Character devices:
205 megaraid_sas_ioctl

I think nothing more is needed
