Cable TV on the PC with Netbsd

Hello,

I've just relocated and in my living room I have a socket with both
analogue and cable TV, all activated already.

I have no TV and not planning on buying one, but I wonder if it's
worth the hassle of buying a TV adapter and installing it on Netbsd.

All the commercial tuners come with drivers for Windows, never mind
Linux or *bsd.

Any input for a starting point would be appreciated.
