How would I determine that? /dev/ on this drive (wd0) was installed
from an amd64 install and I've reinstalled the complete amd64
distribution a couple of times since then. There has been no i386
install on this disk. That was really the point of using a completely
separate disk for it. wd1 is an i386 system though.
