Better is such a subjective word.The reason I'm uncomfortable with systemd is because I feel that it lacks design and makes it harder to debug and understand what is going on. I also feel that a lot of the recent "Linux features" lack decent documentation. You might get "what" from the documentation, but "how" and "why" is something you have to do a whole lot of digging to grasp
One of the reasons I really like *BSD is because of the great documentation..
Also, I'm a little concerned about the big push for systemd. It feels like somebody has an agenda, but who and why is not apparent.
