Hi all, while diggin' the netBSD docs i can't fiddle out the correct syntax for adding IPv6 (aliases) to /etc/ifaliases in order to build an IP4/6 dual stack (For me it seems that /etc/ifconfig.netdev0 holds just the "up" state and not the aliase anymore as in the docs) - see http://www.netbsd.org/docs/network/ipv6/#setup_manual Is something like: /etc/ifaliases 2.3.4.5 netdev0 255.255.255.0 9.8.7.6 netdev0 255.255.255.0 2a00:123:456::1:2 netdev0 prefixlen 48 correct? How can i set a (dual stack) IP6 gateway? What does the rc.conf option: ip6mode="host" in detail? It seems the doc's i've read about was a bit outdated and the discussions around was a bit confusing. many thanks for your time, Niels. -- --- Niels Dettenbach Syndicat IT & Internet http://www.syndicat.com PGP: https://syndicat.com/pub_key.asc ---
