stuff on the instance? is this because the kernel can not load any modules at all?!

i am running a netbsd 6 on ec2 aws. i also have a few freebsds there too. and i'm used to the pf filtering so i want to keep using it. but apparently the pf.o doesn't play awesomely with kernels build for xen platforms. i tried it on the freebsd and suddenly everything kinda almost died, painfully crawling. 

i looked around and found that for freebsd if i set net.inet.tcp.tso=0 the filtering actually works…

the question: would that work for netbsd 6 on ec2?
