'you can change this value to wsvt25 instead, to get colors' That'll teach me for doubting the docs.I don't have the machine with me, but checked the installation disk (which uses high res console and colours) - this uses wsvt25 as $TERM. The machine I was playing about with earlier didn't have this as it's $TERM value.
