It'd be nice to get our POWER/ PowerPCsupport refreshed.
It is very interesting. I wish that I could find someone who would be interest in porting NetBSD to it. I am thinking about trying to do some crowd fund raising with maybe chipin, or something to pay someone to do the porting.
There are other PowerPC systems that I wish NetBSD ran on too:First, it looks like Servergy has built a new server: http:// www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1262676
Second, it looks like they are going to be building an open source PowerPC laptop: http://www.powerpc-notebook.org/en/
So things are getting better for people who like PowerPC hardware. There is a problem though, there may not be a unix like OS soon. Please read the last line of this article: http:// tenfourfox.blogspot.ae/2016/11/debian-drops-powerpc.html
