kernel config problem

I tried building my own kernel, and ran into an error. To troubleshoot, I tried configuring the GENERIC configuration, and came up with the very same error.

# config GENERIC

Build directory is ../compile/GENERIC

Don't forget to run "make depend"

# cd ../compile/GENERIC/

# make depend

depending the kern library objects

# create kern/__main.d
