tried to get a thumbdrive image from the link you'd shared;
http://daily-builds.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-8/201802030140Z/amd64/installation/
since my system does not have a 'cd' drive, i could not figure out which
installable to go for.
could you please point me further in the right direction?
