Since my last post, I tinkered with the partition table using fdisk and
did newfs. Now gpt shows this:

# gpt show sd0
     start      size  index  contents
         0         1         MBR
         1        62         Unused
        63  15158209      1  MBR part 169 (active)


I was preparing this stick to install netbsd on (from another stick).

Now the installation of sets goes through fine, but installer says
readonly file system when trying to write configuration settings.
