For what it's worth: I have run again with the `-t' option and it failed 
again:

I have unlocked myself by tapping in anoncvs.fr.netbsd.org rather than 
the master site.

I will reinstall on a clean, other disk (well SSD actually) and retry 
syncing right away once this is done.
