boot hangs at aubtfwl0

This is a fresh install of 9.2/amd64 on an MSI PC.
The first boot after install hangs, saying

	aubtfwl0: 'ath3k-1.fw' open fail 2

- which is ENOENT, so I am guessing the booting kernel
is trying to load a nonexistent firmware for an Atheros card.

Is this a known problem? Why would it hang?
Is there a workaround?

I tried to boot -c, but that does not
even react to the keyboard ...


FWIW, an OpenBSD dmesg is below; grepping for Atheros, I see

which is probably a wifi/bluetooth combo card.



Or am I guessing wrong and it's the _next_ step of the boot sequence
that hangs (after failing to load aubtfwl and moving on)?
