Can you show your script?

If by record desktop monitor audio, you mean recording the output
of applications, I don't think this is supported by obs-studio on
NetBSD. In fact, obs-studio doesn't have a native netbsd input
at all.

It's possible to do with ffmpeg if you jump over some hoops with
pad devices.
