blacklistd: best way to unblock if your ip gets blocked
I have a NetBSD 9.2 VPS with blacklistd configured.
Sometimes, particularly on mobile devices, due to some erratic conditions
such as temporary breaks in connection when ssh session is open,
blacklistd ends up blocking the dynamic IP of the mobile.
One way is to use another SIM to get a fresh IP to ssh and unblock the
other IP. Or just disconnect mobile data and wait for a while to get a new
IP etc.
But is there a some other way, particularly not requiring another session
with another IP?
E.g. convey an unblock request over email or to a cgi script over https?
But these can have their own security risks.
Any advice?
