cdrecord of install iso fails

Hi my Inspiron N4110 won't boot off of the USB installer images, but it works just fine from the CDROM images from the install isos. I want to be able to have a netbsd only ecosystem for my explorations with the os, so I read up in the guide about using cdrecord to burn an iso image, downloaded the NetBSD-10 installer iso and then tried cdrecord on the iso as directed. It refused to write the image, complaining about track 1 having unkown length. I dug around for a bit and found xfburn in the repo, and that worked fine. Here is the output from the cdrecord session. Any help in figuring out why cdrecord wasn't successful would be great. In the grand scheme of things, xfburn is great, but I hate it when the simple fails!

Will
