It worked, but I cannot install the data files.

The data-files were written to DVD using a program on MicroSoft.

I need to tell it use use device cd1a in dir '/' ...

I do not have any DVD data disks created on Microsoft,
but no issues mounting a DVD via mount_cd9660(8) of a
DVD created on another UN*X type system.

I think that Todd is talking about the sets. I suppose he is having
trouble installing from a DVD. If I remember correctly his HD was
faulting. Can you try a network installation instead? If your network card is
not supported a cheap usb device can be handy.

Is that your problem Todd?
