all packages depend on gzip.  gzip needs to apply its patches to build.  gpatch 
doesn't exist as part of the bootstrap.  gpatch cannot be built without gzip in 
/usr/pkg/bin.

bootstrap pkgsrc on solaris and try to build anything.
