This is due to the following lines in options.mk, which in my opinion do not 
make sense:

PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS+=   inet6 ssl

should occur on any system without IPv6 support

Remove the above three lines from options.mk.
Once you are at it, set BUILD_DEFS suitably.
