Building p5-GD doesn't work "out of the box".

p5-GD depends on the gd library and perl.

Since a few weeks gd always builds with thread support, using something
like pth under 1.6.2. p5-GD relies on this and requires thread support
in perl.

perl58 does not build with thread support by default under 1.6.2. So
building p5-GD fails because it requires perl with thread support.

>How-To-Repeat:
Try to build p5-GD under NetBSD-1.6.2. with default settings for pkgsrc.

Make thread support optional in gd and make p5-GD require a
threaded perl only when gd was build with threads.
