Wnat to use NetBSD pkgsrc due to greater package availability and could not 
install NBSD 2.0 due to hardware configuration issue (Compaq netelligent pci 
ethernet card not configured as tl0). Did minimal OpenBSD install.  bootstrap 
of pkgsrc went ok.

Wanted to install XFree86 meta-pkg.  Installation consistently halts during 
installation of fonts/XFree86-fontsCyrillic at following command during the 
automated procedure:

rm -f fonts.dir
/usr/local/XFree86/bin/mkfontdir  .

One hears some hard disk activity, then nothing.  Waited 20 minutes twice to no 
avail. Quit using Ctrl-C
