>Description:
Build a python package (at least python23 and python24) on Solaris 9 using
gcc-3.3.5 from pkgsrc-current.
Build completes successfully. Packaging has an error because _locale.so is not
installed. It isn't built because it depends on gettext/libiconv.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build python23 on Solaris 9 with gcc-3.3.5. bmake package yields:
tar: Unable to access lib/python2.3/lib-dynload/_locale.so (No such file or
directory)
tar: WARNING! These file names were not selected:
lib/python2.3/lib-dynload/_locale.so
If you scroll back up in the build you'll discover some lines from python
talking about disabling _locale.so.
>Fix:
Add
.include "../../devel/gettext-lib/buildlink3.mk"
to Makefile.common in python23 and python24.
