The pkgsrc/fonts/xorg-fonts*, and therefor the xorg metapackage, can't install 
because of the TAR variable not being set in the Makefile: 

cd /usr/pkgsrc/fonts/xorg-fontsEncodings/work &&  /usr/bin/gzcat 
/usr/pkgsrc/distfiles/X11R6.8.2-src1.tar.gz |  xf - xc/config xc/include 
xc/extras/Mesa/include/GL xc/fonts/encodings

gives "xf: not found"
*** Error code 127

Because "xf - xc/config ..." comes from "${TAR} xf - xc/config ...".

cd /usr/pkgsrc/fonts/xorg-fontsEncodings && make install
>Fix:
A workaround is to set TAR=tar in the environment, but this should be the 
defaults.
