Synopsis: openssl package build perfectly but won't let other packages use it

Since your submission of the PR, many fixes have gone into pkgsrc,
and as the pkgsrc-bulk mailing list shows, many bulk-builds on IRIX
have been performed that show that other packages can link against
openssl from pkgsrc.

Could you update your pkgsrc tree and give it another try?  If the
problem still persists, please let us know.
