>Description:
        package: xfig-3.2.4nb3
        When xfig is run for the first time no colors show up.

>How-To-Repeat:
        After installing, run xfig from a user account. This message will
         appear:
         "Either you have a very old app-defaults file installed (Fig),
        or there is none installed at all.You should install the
        correct version or you may lose some features.This may be done
        with "make install" in the xfig source directory."

        This happens because xfig cannot locate the app-defaults directory

>Fix:
        To fix:
        Add the following MESSAGE to /usr/pkgsrc/graphics/xfig:
=====================================================
$NetBSD: MESSAGE,v 1.1

Add the following shell variables to your ~/.profile
file, in your home account.

XAPPLRESDIR=/usr/pkg/lib/X11/app-defaults/
export XAPPLRESDIR

=====================================================

After doing this, xfig will find the app-defaults directory and
function properly.
