Both the emacs and emacs-nox create versions of emacs which dump core on
Solaris 11. I have verified this on two systems using two different versions of
pkgsrc.
>How-To-Repeat:
bmake
bmake install
Install does not complete as part of the process runs emacs for installation,
resulting in a core dump that aborts the install process.
When using emacs (with X) the core dump does not occur until emacs is closed.
Both fail on the exact place in installation:
Wrote /var/tmp/data/pkgsrc/editors/emacs-nox11/work/emacs-21.4/lib-src/blessmail
Fatal error (11).gmake[1]: *** [blessmail] Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
gmake[1]: *** Deleting file `blessmail'
gmake[1]: Leaving directory
`/var/tmp/data/pkgsrc/editors/emacs-nox11/work/emacs-21.4/lib-src'
