        can be accessed. All normal files an directoriies will be hidden.

        This problem needs to be send to the samba developent team too.,

        The problem seems to be located in the file "smbd/dir.c". Accetendly it 
has changed nearly completly
        agains samba version 3.0.10, where this flag was working correctly. 
(The version we are useing prio
        the last update of pkgsrc ...)
        I've not the time to completely understand the code. So I cannot decide 
if there is the wrong
        interpretion only at one place or at more thant one. The check happens 
at several places.
        Version 3.0.14a is not the actual version of samba. Perhaps if wourld 
be a sollution just to upgrade
        to a more recent stable version of samba in the pkgsrc dstribution.
