This looks to be related to the updates that I just did today. But I never
committed to Xcomposite yet. It should be using the existing setup. I also
never changed the compositeext or fixesext.

I will be updating Xcomposite to use x11/compositeproto.

That x11/compositeproto/builtin.mk and the new x11/fixesproto/builtin.mk
create symlinks for the old pkg-config *pc filenames.

By the way, I also used metacity build for tetsing my changes -- on NetBSD
with native XFree86 and on DragonFly with X11_TYPE=xorg.

What are you using as your X11_TYPE on your slackware system?

Instead of trying to fix your current situation, it would be better if you
waited a few minutes and updated to newer pkgsrc as I complete my changes.

Because it doesn't make since (to me) to troubleshoot a problem for
packages that will changing today :)

By the way, this mailing list (pkgsrc-bugs) is not for reporting bugs. It
is for messages from the GNATS system. Please use the pkgsrc-users list to
continue the discussion. I have set the reply-to as appropriate.
